OPERATION: COMBAT ZONE

Itinerary for Event Day:

7:00 a.m. Gates open for participants. Setting up is allowed from 7a.m. (personal tents etc).

8:00 a.m. Chronograph open time (most players must chrono between 8~10a.m. if not done at Power Edge Hawaii prior to event day). After 10am must see Travis to chronograph.

10:00 a.m. Official Announcements at stage; Itinerary for the day

  • Schedule of skirmish games and definition of locations (Game Zones, Safe Zones, and Tent Area)
  • Rules for the Event (Skirmish Games, Event Games, etc. . .)
  • Lunch Schedule
  • Side Events (Blackhawk Tent / Event, Sniper Contest, and I.G. Booth Game): Rules, prizes, etc.
  • Raffle Prize Give Away details

10:15 a.m. Start of the Official Games: Game #1

  • 10-minute leeway to get to game zone and setup

Counterike Total Game Time (45 minutes):

    • Military Force: Force will be split into 3. There will be three designated areas to guard and prevent Terrorist/Civilian Force from bombing any of the three bombsites.
    • Terrorist/Civilian Force: Will have one Bomb. Objective is to bomb one of the three bombsites. Terrorists must place bomb in the bomb zone. Once the bomb is placed it will then be active.
    • Recycle: Both forces will have one recycle at designated areas.
    • Bomb timer is set for 3 minutes. Each bombsite will have one Referee with a stopwatch to time once the bomb has been planted.
    • Bombs are disarmed if a Military team member stands by a bomb for 1 minute.
  • 10-minute leeway to return to safe zone

11:20 a.m. Lunch Announcement: Lunch Time From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Live Entertainment during Lunch
  • Prize Raffle (between 1 to 2 Power Edge items and a few Sponsored Prizes) approximate time for giveaway 12:00 p.m. Accessories Raffle begins (approximately at noon) called every 5 minutes. .

 

12:20 p.m. Announcement of the Next Game 2nd and MAIN GAME of EVENT

  • 10-minute leeway to get to game zone and setup

Black Hawk Down (Main Event) Total Game Time (45 minutes):

    • Military Force: Split into two forces, ¼ of the force will be designated in the rescue area on the field surrounded by the entire civilian force. The remaining ¾ force will start at the end of the field. The larger military force’s objective is to make contact with the smaller force and extract them from the rescue zone and escort them back to the starting point.
    • Civilian Force: Split into two forces both of equal numbers placed between the two military forces. Objective is to wipe out the smaller military force and prevent the larger force from extracting. Civilian force will be given 3 recycle periods throughout the game.
    • Recycle: Only for Civilian Force. Three recycle periods.
  • 10-minute leeway to return to safe zone

 

1:25 p.m. Players return from Main Scenario Skirmish. Announcement of Side Event 1: Target Shot Sponsored by Blackhawk Industries. To begin at 1:30p.m. (scheduled event time ends at 1:55p.m. but will continue till all BHI prizes are distributed).

 

2:00 p.m. Start of Third Game:

  • 10-minute leeway to get to game zone and setup

V.I.P. Total Game Time (40 minutes):

    • Military Force: Will have full force escorting two referees (VIP’s) from end of the field to safe zone. The objective is to escort the VIP’s to the safe zone having with at least one of the VIP’s alive. VIP’s will not be armed and will be eliminated by a headshot and a headshot only.
    • Civilian Force: Will set up between the Military Force and the safe zone. Objective is to prevent both VIP’s from reaching the safe zone at all costs.
    • Recycle: For both forces, Military Force recycle point is starting point, and Civilian Force recycle will have designated points. One recycle for this game.
    • VIP will be designated as a referee wearing a Tac Vest (will also be wearing the referee Orange T-Shirt)
  • 10-minute leeway to return to safe zone

3:00 p.m. Start of Fourth Game:

  • 10-minute leeway to get to game zone and setup

Heads Up Capture the Flag Total Game Time (30 minutes):

    • Military Force & Civilian Force: Starting at opposite ends of the fields and go head on with each other. Objective to punch holes in enemy forces and bring the enemies flag back to bases.
    • Recycle: Both Forces will have two recycles back at starting points.
  • 10-minute leeway to return to safe zone

 

3:50 p.m. Announcement of Side Event 2: Sniper Contest (Sponsored by Tactical Solutions Hawaii)

 

4:30 p.m. Start of LAST Game:

  • 10-minute leeway to get to game zone and setup

Speed Ball Highlander Total Game Time (20 minutes):

    • Both forces play on speedball field, elimination by headshots only, and no recycles.
  • 10-minute leeway to return to safe zone

 

5:10 p.m. Announcements (Sponsors and Supporters) & Raffle for Power Edge Main Prize and Sponsor Prizes

 

5:30 p.m. Officially Operation Combat Zone 2006 ENDS.
