The minimum age requirement to participate in the Airsoft Skirmishes is 14 years old. The minimum age requirement for Non-Player Participants is 8 years old. An adult must accompany any Non-Player Participant, who is under the age of 14, at all times.

Power Edge Inc. reserves the right to reschedule the event or to cancel the entire event at its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be made within 14 days. If the event is rescheduled, the participant shall have 3 days from the day they are notified of the new date (posted/visible both online as well as at Power Edge Hawaii Storefront) to request a full refund.

Except as stated in rule #2 above, once the participant has registered for the event, there will be no refund under any circumstances. All sales are final.

Except as otherwise provided herein, only Airsoft equipment, which includes Airsoft grenade cartridges i.e. 6mm or 8mm grenade cartridge by Mad Bull, CAW can be used for this event.

Only biodegradable BB’s are allowed in the event. Chrono for participant's Airsoft Equipment will be based on: AEG and GBB Hand Guns 6mm .20gram BB's at 500 fps. Spring Operated Bolt Action Airsoft Guns 6mm .20gram BB's at 550 fps. 8mm GBB as well as fixed Gas Operated Hand Guns will be chorono'ed using .36gram 8mm BB's at 400 fps (variance of + or - 5fps).

The following activities/items are strictly PROHIBITED:

Vending of any sort without prior written authorization from Power Edge Inc.

Weapons of any sort, including but not limited to knives, batons, nun chucks, firearms, or any items which can be used to cause bodily harm as determined by the referee of the event.

Verbal or physical confrontations.

Paint ball grenades (by Mad Bull) as well as any solid foam, sponge, and/or other grenade cartridges that propel powder, such as talc to impede visibility.

The use of any Airsoft apparatus that must leave the hands of the shooter in order to activate, including but not limited to disposable/recyclable grenades, Airsoft land mines, etc.
-
The use of any pyrotechnics, smoke devices, or any apparatus other than the approved Airsoft equipment.

Soliciting and/or loitering at the event.

Alcoholic beverages.
-
Video Tape Recording anywhere at this event.
-
Photography beyond the Tent area anywhere in the Skirmish Zone without explicit approval from Power Edge Inc. owner.

Firing upon the referee.

All Airsoft Equipment’s velocity must be checked and confirmed by our referees’ prior to start of the Airsoft skirmishes. Those that pass the velocity requirements will have a clearly marked indication. This must be visible throughout the day. Velocity requirements for all Airsoft Equipment will be strictly enforced throughout the day. Referees reserve the right to “spot check” participants suspected to have modified Airsoft equipment.

Full Face Mask use where the discharge of any participant’s Airsoft Equipment (which is defined as anywhere from the chronograph station to anywhere in the skirmish zone) is absolutely mandatory. Participants must wear the specified clothing (either full Military Style, Civilian, or Law Enforcement Style clothing). Covered shoes are required. Boots are highly recommended. Slippers, Sandals, and Flip-Flops are not allowed in the Skirmish Zone (NO EXCEPTIONS). Tactical Vests are allowed, however layering of clothes (two or more layers) to “pad” your clothing is not allowed.

Participants that are “Hit” must indicate that they are so by clearly saying that they are “Hit” as well as raising their Airsoft Equipment in the Air. Failure to do so may result in receiving more shots by another participant. Continuing to shoot any individuals who have already indicated that they are “Hit” along with their Airsoft Equipment raised in the air (the act of “Stitching”) is not permitted.

There will be referees, including one senior referee present in the event. The referees will be easily identifiable by the clothing they wear.

Referees have the authority to: warn participants of any infraction of rules and/or safety, have participant forfeit play in one game (“sit out”), and in the event of violation of rule #7 above, they have authority to suspend the use of said participant’s Airsoft Equipment (till that equipment returns to acceptable standards for this event). The Airsoft games conducted is based solely on the honor system therefore anyone who is determined by the referees to be cheating (not calling their hits) may face consequences as determined by the referees discretion.

In addition to all of the authorities provided herein, the Senior Referee shall have the authorities to do the following when the Senior Referee has determined that the participant has violated the official rules of the event: have participant forfeit multiple play, expel participant from the skirmish zone, expel a participant from the entire event. The senior referee’s decision is final.

Non-player participants are not allowed to handle any Airsoft equipment of any area of premises on the day of the event. They shall remain in the Safe Zone Designation Area at all times. Entry of the Skirmish Zone, Chronograph Station or any other restricted area is strictly prohibited.

Pre-Registration will be accepted until August 5th, 2006 at a cost of $25. Walk-In on the day of the event August 6th 2006 will be accepted at $40 per person.

Team selection will be based on first come first served; however Power Edge Inc. reserves the right to designate team selection if we determine that either team is not balanced.

MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT OF AIRSOFT SKIRMISHES WILL BE NO LESS THAN 20 FEET FOR ANY AEG (DEFINED AS AN AUTO-ELECTRIC GUN) OR GAS OPERATED AIRSOFT HAND GUNS (with a velocity of 500fps). MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT OF AIRSOFT SKIRMISHES WILL BE NO LESS THAN 50 FEET FOR ANY SPRING OPERATED SNIPER AIRSOFT GUN (with a velocity of 550fps). POINT BLANK SHOTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

NO AIRSOFT GUN WILL BE ALLOWED TO DICHARGE IN THE SAFE AREA IN THE EXCEPTION OF SIDE EVENTS THAT POWER EDGE INC., ITS STAFF, OR AUTHORIZED NON-AFFILIATE COMPANIES; ITS OWNERS, STAFF AND OFFICERS CONDUCTS. ALL PARTICIPANT’S AIRSOFT GUNS MUST HAVE THEIR MAGAZINES REMOVED FROM THEIR AIRSOFT GUNS AT THE SAFE AREA. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN EXPULSION OF THE EVENT (IN ITS ENTIRETY).
